The Legislation That Could Kill Internet Privacy for Good - The Atlantic.
These kind of reports are unnerving. We have seen this type of government repression before and can expect more.
I am aware that I am blogging about Monsanto constantly. I want to find other areas of interest, but these bastards have to be exposed for what they really are doing. I am a farmer and have seen Monsanto take over here in Hawaii. We have to buy animal feed shipped from the mainland at outlandish prices, while Monsanto grows 3 corn seed crops per year here to ship to the mainland for Midwest farmers to grow, and some of this corn is made into feed and shipped back to us. Subsequently, no more poultry or egg farms on the Big Island of Hawaii, it simply cost too much to feed them. They say this is the magic hand of the free market setting up the outcomes. I say no, it is manipulation of government by big money that shapes our markets. You can't make money raising cattle or poultry with the high feed prices. So, you can make alot of money if your lucky enough to grow for Monsanto. We have to start looking at longer term costs. In the short term Monsanto looks good with their high tech and high prices paid for corn seed. But long term this kills good local ag. Who makes money in this system? It isn't local ag, only the shippers and Monsanto. It is a retarded system favoring big ag and big business, and bad health. And this makes us absolutely dependent on big business for all our food, and healthcare. This just isn't smart at all. Short term results, long term resentments.
Here is an article illuminating Monsanto's repeated assaults on Third World farmers. Remember, controlling food controls people. We want choice. Don't buy what Monsanto is selling. Ask your grocer for local food. Ask them if they know about GMO food ingredients. Let them know you have concerns about GMOs and what Monsanto is doing. Remeber, Monsanto invented all these GMO crops so they could sell their chemicals. Round-Up herbicide brought to you by the makers of Agent Orange. At Monsanto we don't just grow plants we spray the crap out of them too.
I can't say it more simply. I am not trying to be smart or sophisticated. Monsanto wants your money from selling you cheap nutritionally lacking food. If you control food, you control people.
Monsanto Milks America again and again, Demand labeling of GMO ingredients in our food.
Unfortunately, what we have here is a prime example of human beings trapped in their egos and therefor more interested in being 'right' rather than being successful. Clearly the amount of wealth that is moving upwards is at a pace never seen before. The wealthy are getting wealthier and the super wealthy are getting control of everything they can in the name of a free market. Of course unless they fuck up and then the People need to step in and bail them out. Here is the real scary rub for those that have made their life's work amassing great wealth: Money represents a false sense of security about the probability of survival. Also, note that this great migration of assests to the super-wealthy has occred at the cost of the poor and middle class. End the Bush Era tax credits for the wealthy and have a sense of humanity and see that everyone has access to basic human needs, housing, jobs, medicine, and justice. Have a heart and live life as a question where love is always the answer. Make your life work at the level of joy and satisfaction. And send these motherfuckers a message, "Stop fucking around and get real, you don't want to really piss off the poor and middle-class do you?" Do I smell revolution?
